Job Description

TAKE YOUR CAREER IN A NEW DIRECTION

At Eurostar, we’re fuelling the future of rail travel – operating in five countries and sparking new opportunities for travellers. But our trains connect much more than just people and places. They’re helping us build a greener, more inclusive future for everyone. Join us and you’ll be part of a passionate team which always goes the extra mile.

An exciting opportunity awaits you as Maintenance Planner in our Rolling Stock team. The Maintenance Planning team plays a crucial role in optimising the execution of maintenance operations, by ensuring compliance with rules. It therefore has a direct impact on availability, reliability, train comfort and overall maintenance costs. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the planning of maintenance on the EIL fleet in accordance with the transport plan and fleet maintenance compliance requirements.

This permanent position is based onsite at our Temple Mills Depot in Leyton.

The close date for this role is 5pm on Friday, 26 June 2026. Candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible; Eurostar reserves the right to contact candidates before close date and to close the role earlier if suitable candidates are identified.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone to:

  • Plan and manage fleet maintenance (up to W+4), ensuring all required work is scheduled on time.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities across depots, factoring in constraints and balancing workload effectively.
  • Prioritise and schedule all maintenance inputs, including exams, campaigns, breakdowns, restrictions, and deferred work.
  • Proactively manage unplanned work, leading action plans with Engineering and raising derogations where required.
  • Optimise fleet availability by minimising restrictions and maintaining effective fleet distribution across locations.
  • Collaborate with depot scheduling teams through regular reviews to align plans, track SLAs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You'll need...

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within a complex operational environment (ideally rolling stock or aviation).
  • Strong experience with maintenance planning systems
  • Ability to develop and manage short- to medium-term maintenance plans
  • Experience coordinating workloads across multiple sites or depots, balancing priorities and resource constraints.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and drive operational efficiency.
  • French language skills, written and spoken, would be highly beneficial

Benefits

We’re constantly working to create a bright future for our company and our colleagues. That’s why we offer a wide range of brilliant benefits, including:

  • Travel benefits that can be used for both work and play including 75% off underground network from Day 1
  • Competitive defined benefit pension scheme
  • Free Eurostar tickets
  • Discounted Eurostar tickets for friends and family
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Lots of other exclusive deals, discounts and perks
