Airnorth are recruiting for a Maintenance Planner to join the Continuing Airworthiness Management team. Reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager the Maintenance Planner is responsible for producing maintenance plans that specify when and where scheduled maintenance is to be carried out on Airnorth aircraft. The Maintenance Planners are also responsible for liaison with Operations and Fleet Maintenance Controllers to make adjustments to those plans when unscheduled maintenance must be accommodated. This role is a full-time position working Monday to Friday with a requirement to be on call on rostered weekends.
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Compilation and dissemination of the scheduled maintenance plan for all company aircraft, with due consideration to operational and Engineering requirements;
Making arrangements for the conduct of unscheduled maintenance on airline fleet in liaison with the Maintenance Organisation;
Communicating information necessary for control of the maintenance of the airline fleet to the Fleet Maintenance Controllers;
Providing timely reports to the Fleet Maintenance Controllers concerning issues that affect the maintenance plan;
Ensuring that the Fleet Maintenance Controllers are adequately briefed when any major disruption occurs, including any time-controlled maintenance tasks;
Coordinating with the Maintenance Organisation as required to ensure the timely accomplishment of all scheduled maintenance for the Airnorth fleet as per the maintenance plan;
Preparation of work packs;
Data entry into the CMMS including aircraft hours/cycles, defects and component changes; and
Provide relief support in periods of leave for the Data and Technical Records Officers.
Qualifications ESSENTIAL
Previous Maintenance Planning Experience
Previous experience with Approved Maintenance Programs and aircraft maintenance planning;
Previous experience with CMMS software, e.g.: Envision, IAS etc;
Sound understanding of aviation safety and airworthiness requirements;
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously within strict timeframes;
Ability to understand technical documentation;
Demonstrated time management and interpersonal skills;
High level of attention to detail;
Computer literacy with Microsoft Office software suite;
Ability to work cohesively within a team environment;
Experience with maintenance forecasting; and
Is able to obtain an ASIC.
