Starting Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000, based on experience
Location: Hagerstown, MD

Located in the Hagerstown, MD facility and reporting to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the effective planning and scheduling of work, with material procurement for specific jobs/tasks primarily through the use of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for production equipment and related support systems, buildings and facilities.
What You'll Do
• Manages and prioritizes maintenance work using CMMS, ensuring requests are accurate, valid, and clearly defined
• Plans jobs by estimating labor, materials, tools, and skills needed, including routine maintenance and complex projects
• Prepares and organizes all required resources (documents, parts, tools) and ensures readiness before scheduling
• Balances workloads with available labor and coordinates with supervisors, operations, and vendors to minimize downtime
• Oversees work order backlog, scheduling, inventory usage, and procurement to control costs and maintain efficiency
• Improves maintenance processes by analyzing trends, developing procedures, maintaining CMMS data integrity, and reporting insights
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring
• Experience with CMMS systems (MVP-One preferred) and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including ability to read schematics and drawings
• At least 2 years of maintenance planning experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of maintenance methods, tools, equipment, and preventive maintenance practices
• Strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities (5S mindset)
• Experience working with vendors and managing projects or programs (preferred)
• Flexible schedule, commitment to safety standards, and relevant education or equivalent experience
