We are Australia's largest pure-play coal producer generating over $10 billion in Foreign Direct
Investment; owning, operating or participating in coal mines across NSW, Queensland and Western

Owned by Yancoal, Yarrabee is a proud producer of high-quality PCI coal since 1982. We employ
approximately 450 people, who are our most valuable asset. We are currently seeking a Maintenance
Planner to join our team based in Blackwater, QLD (2 hours drive west of Rockhampton) on a 4/3
roster.
Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Planner you will be required to plan short and long term
maintenance for Heavy Mobile Equipment.
Key accountabilities of this position include (but not limited to):
• Planning and scheduling short to long term maintenance for HME (Heavy Mobile Equipment)
• Initiating and monitoring the purchasing and logistics process to ensure parts, equipment,
resources, and tooling are available when required.
• Monitoring the condition and organising the repair of related assets e.g., HME (Heavy mobile
Equipment)
• Developing of a budget for all equipment maintenance
• Developing a weekly-agreed maintenance plans using equipment strategies to facilitate maximum
production and minimize downtime and costs to meet plant availability and reliability targets.
• Ensuring all Maintenance and Statutory information stored in the CMMS is detailed, accurate and
current.
• Timely communication of any foreseeable disruptions to planned events.
• Actively engaging with mining operations team to ensure plans are aligned with production
objectives.
The successful candidate will have:
• Relevant Maintenance Planning Qualifications
• Previous planning experience on Heavy ancillary equipment would be an advantage
• Mechanical Trade or experience in a prior planning role
• Understanding CMMS systems and the ability to maintain and improve (SAP experience would be
highly regarded but depending on experience a good understanding of CMMS systems would be
considered)
• Maintenance management diploma or Mechanical Engineering qualification are advantageous
• Maintenance planning experience with Shutdowns/ Service days in a mobile plant environment
• Experience in Maintenance master data SAP or similar highly regarded
• Current Driver's Licence
• Competent user of MS Project, MS Word and Excel
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills at all levels
• Effective planning and organising skills with the ability to deliver on simultaneous projects
with competing priorities.
