MiNECO are a national mining and equipment services business with assets across NSW & QLD. We provide mining solutions to tier 1 companies including Bulk Dozer push, Coal quality and recovery, Crushing, Civil works and Rehabilitation services. With our Head Office based Beresfield, our fully equipped workshop in Muswellbrook and assets across all major sites in the Hunter region we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team in our Muswellbrook facility.

The Opportunity

• Managing a fleet of heavy mobile equipment (HME) Crushing and Civil machinery.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient scheduling and execution of all planned maintenance activities, maximising equipment uptime and productivity while minimising costs and downtime.
• Develop, manage, and optimize the maintenance schedule for a diverse fleet of assets across NSW

• Planning of resources, parts, equipment and tools to ensure work progresses on weekly schedules efficiently
• Cost management through optimised maintenance planning
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisors, operations teams, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient completion of scheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Planning and scheduling long and short-term maintenance activities
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance history, work orders, and parts inventory within the company's maintenance management system (CMMS).

About You

• Qualifications - Plant Mechanical Trade, Engineering degree or maintenance management experience
• Proven ability to plan and manage maintenance schedules for heavy mobile equipment contractor.
• Familiarity with OEM maintenance standards and equipment diagnostics.
• Strong understanding of mining equipment maintenance strategies, CMMS, and work order management systems.
