ATI is seeking to hire a Maintenance Planner to support our Specialty Rolled Products melting facility. in Lockport, NY. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Superintendent.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue the maintenance activity work schedule.
• Prepare and coordinate contractor activities and work schedule.
• Prepare detailed critical path plans including equipment and materials for major jobs such as planned shutdowns.
• Ensure that equipment and materials are available when required.
• Assist storeroom in parts procurement, repair and identification
• Issue and follow up on preventative/predictive maintenance inspections and procedures.
• Ensure that necessary work history and documentation are organized and input into Maximo.
• Attend daily DMB meetings with operations and maintenance representatives.
• Evaluate time-based PM's and seek opportunities to replace with condition-based evaluations.
• Ability to furnish the appropriate maintenance plans which will minimize down day timing and allow for overlapping work.
• Conduct field investigations to better identify scope of work.
• Prepare summary and exception reports. Prepare long-term plans and schedules for review and approval by management. Use exception reports to drive continuous improvement within the processes.
• Adhere to all safety regulations.
• Maintain environmental compliance and reporting with appropriate authorities and ATI personnel
• Ensure blanket POs are issued for annual and seasonal services.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Previous as a Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturer

Preferred Qualifications

• Working experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System, Maximo preferred, as well as experience with project management software, MS Project or equivalent
• An associate's degree in a technical discipline
