The Opportunity: -
We have 2 opportunities for experienced Maintenance Planners; locations are Surry Hills and Hornsby. You will join our Network Maintenance division where we manage the annual maintenance program; we deliver routine maintenance on the civil, signal and electrical assets on the metropolitan passenger network and co-ordinate infrastructure incident response.
The vision for the Network Maintenance Division is to ensure a safe, reliable metropolitan rail network and to meet the expectations of our customers every day.
Reporting to the Maintenance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing efficient and effective maintenance plans for depot staff to execute. Ensuring optimisation of resources across all disciplines.

About you
You will have tertiary/TAFE qualifications in a related field, e.g. Production Management, Project Planning, Business or equivalent substantial work experience. Coupled with this you will need to demonstrate experience in planning/scheduling experience in a routine maintenance environment, feasibility studies, and cost to benefit analysis to facilitate delivering projects on time and within budget.
You will have demonstrated experience in managing engineering safety compliance in a complex operational environment and hold a Class C driver’s license.
