We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Vale of Glamorgan to assist with the appointment of a Maintenance Officer, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £123.50 - £162.85 per day

Summary:

A Maintenance Officer is required to carry out high-quality maintenance and carpentry works, ensuring properties and facilities are maintained to a high standard.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and can work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out general maintenance and carpentry works across properties and facilities.
• Undertake first and second fix carpentry to a high standard.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally.
• Interpret and work from drawings, specifications and job instructions.
• Ensure all work is completed to required quality, safety and workmanship standards.

Essentials:

• Qualified and experienced carpenter.
• Good knowledge and practical experience of first and second fix carpentry.
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
• Full UK driving licence.
