Job Description

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Maintain HT/LT panels, MCCs, PCCs, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, APFC panels, and power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize equipment downtime.
• Monitor electrical parameters and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

• Maintain and calibrate field instruments such as pressure, temperature, level, flow, and analytical instruments.
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, control panels, sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
• Perform loop checking, calibration, commissioning, and testing of instrumentation systems.
• Ensure proper functioning of process automation and control systems.

• Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain maintenance history, calibration records, and equipment documentation.
• Ensure availability of critical electrical and instrumentation spares.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
• Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), Permit-to-Work (PTW), and other safe work practices.
• Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and electrical inspections.
• Maintain proper housekeeping as per 5S standards.

Documentation

• Update electrical drawings, cable schedules, and instrument records.
• Prepare maintenance reports, root cause analysis (RCA), and breakdown reports.
• Coordinate with vendors for AMC activities, spare procurement, and technical support.

• Good knowledge of electrical distribution systems and industrial instrumentation.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and VFD troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of calibration techniques and field instrumentation.
