Your opportunity

1 x part-time opportunity
Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 8:00am – 2:00pm (6 hours per day)

As a Maintenance Officer at Warriewood Brook Village, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the village—ensuring facilities, buildings and shared spaces are well maintained and presented to a high standard.

With a hands-on and proactive approach, you will:

  • Complete general repairs (e.g. doors, locks, painting, minor roofing, gutter cleaning, basic concreting, minor gardening tasks)

  • Carry out preventative maintenance to maintain village assets

  • Respond to day-to-day maintenance requests in a timely manner

  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition

  • Keep accurate records of work completed and safety procedures

  • Support a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents

  • Interact respectfully with residents, staff and contractors, representing Anglicare’s values

What you’ll bring

You’re a practical, reliable and safety-focused professional who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a community environment.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in general maintenance or handyman work

  • A basic understanding of tools, materials and maintenance practices

  • A current NSW Driver’s Licence

  • Sound computer and iphone skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach

  • Confidence working independently and managing your time

  • A commitment to safety and following procedures

  • Alignment with Anglicare’s values of integrity, compassion, justice and excellence

  • Ideally, you’ll also bring experience working in retirement living, aged care or similar environments.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
