Come and join the Infinite team as our new Garden/Maintenance Officer on a full-time basis at our aged care home, Rose Court in Gilles Plains, Adelaide, SA.

This role offers great work life balance as the hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 7am & finishing at approximately 3pm. The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate for this permanent role and a fortnightly paid phone allowance.

Day to day duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Undertake general day to day maintenance activities to a high standard in accordance with Infinite standards, plans and guidelines.
  • Ensure all emergency, preventative and corrective maintenance is carried out in accordance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • When required oversee and coordinate any required contractors working on site.
  • Ensure smooth day to day running of all maintenance requirements at the facility.
  • Exceptional client service skills are important to ensure success in the role.
  • Flexibility to undertake a wide scope of activities including but not limited to: landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs; waste removal; painting and test and tagging (training can be provided after commencement).

About You:

  • Previous gardening and maintenance experience is preferred.
  • OHS understanding.
  • You will need to be a self-starter with excellent time management skills which enable you prioritise work schedules.
  • Work autonomously as well as a member of the team and have a strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multi-task.
  • A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to apply for one)
  • Positive `can do' attitude will ensure your success in this important role.

This is a physically demanding maintenance role, applicants must be capable of safely performing manual handling and other physical duties.

As part of our pre-employment phase an online medical assessment and other work-related checks are mandatory.
