Maintenance Officer (2 Days per Week - 5 Hours per Day)

Red Hill & Seaford

Things don’t stay great by accident, they stay great because someone’s behind the scenes making sure everything works exactly as it should. That’s where you come in.

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, solutions-focused Maintenance & Facilities Coordinator to help keep our Red Hill and Seaford venues running at their best.

This is a part-time role, offering 2 days per week with approximately 5-hour shifts, ideal for someone looking for consistent, flexible hours.

About the opportunity

No two days are the same, but you’ll be across things like:

  • Tackling general maintenance and repairs (carpentry, plumbing, painting, equipment fixes - you name it)
  • Staying ahead of issues with preventative maintenance
  • Keeping an eye on our venues - spotting problems early and jumping on them
  • Working with external contractors when needed
  • Managing tools, stock and keeping clear records
  • Making sure everything is safe, clean and compliant
  • Supporting the team with day-to-day operational and facilities needs

About you

You’re practical, proactive and take real ownership of your work. You likely bring:

  • Solid experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar hands-on role
  • Strong problem-solving skills (you don’t just spot issues - you fix them)
  • Knowledge across general trades - mechanical, electrical, plumbing
  • The ability to work independently while still being part of a team
  • A “see it, sort it” mindset
