About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving and is committed to delivering high-quality service in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out general, preventative and periodic maintenance across buildings, plant and equipment to ensure facilities are safe, operational and well presented
  • Proactively identifying maintenance issues and scheduling works to minimise disruption to property operations
  • Completing maintenance tasks within agreed timeframes and in line with RACV standards and regulatory requirements
  • Liaising closely with departments such as Housekeeping and Reception to support day-to-day operational needs
  • Supervising contractors and monitoring performance to ensure quality service delivery

  • Contributing to a collaborative team environment and continuous improvement activities
  • Delivering consistently high-quality service to RACV members, guests and visitors
  • Flexibility is essential, as this role operates within a seven-day environment and may include weekend work, on-call duties and occasional travel to other RACV properties.

About You

You have previous building or facilities maintenance experience and a practical, hands-on skillset across areas such as carpentry, painting and basic electrical or plumbing. You’re a clear communicator, able to manage multiple tasks, work independently and build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors and guests. You demonstrate a strong customer service ethic, attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Trade qualifications, restricted electrical licences, experience in hotel or resort environments, and familiarity with building management systems are highly desirable but not essential.
