COMP RANGE: $26.00 - $28.00
BONUSES: Based on individual Short-Term Incentive Plan results and company performance.

The Maintenance & MRO Buyer must follow all plant safety, Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety rules and regulations. Documentation and paperwork procedures must be followed as well as verbal and written instructions and guidelines according to the job requirements. The Maintenance & MRO Buyer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance-related procurement, including the movement of physical parts and materials, tracking, documentation management, inventory metrics and reporting, customer service, and coordination with associates. The Maintenance & MRO Buyer will back up the plant operations team as needed and if applicable. This role does not have direct reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Mizkan America safety policies, OSHA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Communicate with production team to align activities and needs while minimizing disruptions.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of parts and materials to support operational needs.
• Possess working knowledge of accounts payable processes.
• Document daily activities related to monthly maintenance accounts.
• Monitor and manage monthly Repair & Maintenance (R&M) expenses.
• Handle ordering and pricing of parts and materials for various jobs and projects.
• Research and source cost-effective parts with reliable service.
• Identify and onboard new vendors, establish accounts, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Optimize the use of Maximo, Dynaway, Coupa and other relevant systems.
• Coordinate year-end prepaid supplies inventory at the plant level.
• Oversee daily management of the work order and preventive maintenance (PM) programs.
• Responsible for food quality and safety
• Follow all safety rules, keeping work area clean and in orderly condition.
EDUCATION:
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
• Associates degree in related field preferred
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2 years’ experience within a food processing, bottling, liquid filling/blending and/or consumer goods manufacturing/packing environment required.
• 3 years of related experience required.
• Advanced computer knowledge, required (MS Office, Teams, and other operating software)
• Knowledge of CMMS (Maximo) and Dynaway a plus.
• Ability to work respectfully and efficiently with others in a Team environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines on short notice.
• Strong multitasking skills required.
• Continuous mental and visual attention is required to perform duties, involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or activity, required.
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends when required.
• Advanced mathematics skills required (perform complex division calculations; excel formulas).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal and interpersonal capacity.
• Must be respectful and work well with all levels of personnel.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot or cold), working at heights, climb ladders and tolerate exposure to strong smells, dust, gases, fumes and chemical or require use of personal protective equipment.
• Ability to properly use Personal Protective Equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical aspects of the job as performed in an 8-hour workday.
• Must be able to see, sit, stand, walk, speak, hear, reach, bend, twist, ascend/ descend.
• Ability to pull, push, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., 50+ lbs. with assistance.
