
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment and facilities to support safe and efficient operations. This role works across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including conveyors, hydraulic systems, HVAC, and powered industrial equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
Perform welding and basic fabrication to repair or modify equipment
Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules
Utilize systems to document maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory usage
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA/EPA regulations
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Support general facility maintenance as needed
Qualifications
2–5+ years of industrial maintenance or related experience preferred
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment independently
Welding and fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Valid driver’s license required
Forklift and aerial lift experience preferred
Strong attention to safety and detail
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
Work Schedule & Compensation
Full-time; typical schedule: 1st shift (e.g., 6:00am – 4:30pm). Overtime may be required based on production needs. Hourly pay range aligned to experience.
