Join our Drug Plastics team at our Phoenix location! We are searching for our next Maintenance Mechanic. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repair operations in support of all plastic injection molding machines, support equipment and performs building maintenance operations and other projects. This is an hourly position that works Monday thru Friday 6am-2:30pm.

- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Detect malfunctions and defects in electrical systems and repairing the same.
- Maintain a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted.
- Report damages, defects and other issues pertaining to electrical units to the supervisor.
Some Responsibilities Include
- For the Injection Molding Machines, troubleshoot and accomplish timely and complete repairs to all electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems of plastic injection molding machines. Remove injection screws, inspect, clean and reinstall.
- Troubleshoot and accomplish timely and complete repairs to all auxiliary equipment such as grinders, dryers, thermolaters, compressors, chillers, central loading systems, etc.
- Troubleshoot and accomplish timely and complete repairs to resolve all building maintenance problems and install new equipment as necessary.
- Research and install equipment to improve processes and/or support system operations.
- Install automation/support equipment for injection molding machines (i.e. Cincinnati, Toshiba, Husky). Make changes to equipment to improve workflow or quality.
- Maintain all equipment and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Undertake personal responsibility to become and remain fully qualified to perform all aspects of the position as outlined in the Job Competencies for the Position of Maintenance Mechanic.
- Follow safety guidelines, Company policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Assist Lining and Process Mechanics in their job functions as required to support overall
plant performance.
