Job Description

In this role, you will impact the reliability and safety of our manufacturing equipment and facility systems, contributing directly to operational excellence and business success.

  • Advanced level technician.
  • Performs assignments of a general nature requiring use and application of standard maintenance methods and tools.
  • Read and understand technical manuals
  • Advanced understanding of diagrams, drawings.
  • Advanced understanding of mechanical equipment and tools
  • Advanced understanding of equipment alignment
  • Advanced understanding of measuring devices like rulers, calipers, and micrometers
  • Advanced understanding of assembly and disassembly of mechanical components under supervision
  • Safe use of power tools including drills, grinders, etc.
  • Understanding of different fasteners and their proper applications
  • Advanced understanding of rigging and hoisting practices and equipment used
  • Ability to identify and apply appropriate lubricants to mechanical systems
  • Accountable for performing work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and in accordance with established procedures as required due to being a Responsible Care facility

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting with exposure to automated equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

WE VALUE

  • 2-year technical degree or 5 years’ experience in heavy industrial manufacturing
  • 2-year technical degree and at least 3-year experience in heavy industrial manufacturing
