As a Maintenance Mechanic at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, you will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering and plant maintenance functions to provide for efficient operation of the physical plant and hospital campus and off-site locations.
Maintenance Mechanic - Engineering - Part Time Weekend (15 hours)
This is a part time weekend position (Sat/Sun) at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY.
Preferred Criteria
3 years of related mechanical and electrical experience.
Ability to transport equipment of varying sizes and weights throughout the facility and hospital campus. Ability to work throughout the entire facility, operate equipment.
Demonstrate knowledge and competence in area of practice.
Clean and valid NYS driver license.
Ability to communicate in an effective manner and able to take direction and supervision.
Maintain awareness of the responsibility attached to maintaining and servicing the physical plant.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of hospital staff, visitors, and outside agencies
Required Criteria
High school graduate or equivalent.
