Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician

Direct Hire | $27 - $32/hour | Stillwater, MN

Monday–Friday (Flexible start: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient manufacturing operations. The position works hands-on with a variety of industrial equipment, including large-format printing systems such as digital presses, screen-printing equipment, and die-cutting/converting machinery.

Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment and facility systems
• Maintain and support large-format printing equipment, including digital presses, screen printing machines, and die cutting/converting equipment
• Execute preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and safety
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Assist with installation and startup of new equipment
• Communicate equipment issues and urgent repair needs to maintenance leadership

Facility & Building Maintenance

• Perform routine inspections of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and general infrastructure
• Complete general maintenance tasks such as welding, electrical work, painting, and carpentry
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
• 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electrical systems
• Familiarity with printing equipment (digital, screen printing) and die cutting/converting equipment preferred
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and use diagnostic tools
