Job Description

We're looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to support the performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You’ll be on the floor diagnosing issues, fixing equipment, and handling preventative maintenance across machines and facilities. From motors and pneumatics to fabrication and quick fixes — you’ll play a key role in minimizing downtime and keeping production on track.Essential Functions

• Supports manufacturing operations by repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines and equipment, and the building as a whole.
• Performs corrective and preventative maintenance to repair or modify defects.
• Maintains operating conditions of facilities and equipment; provides job completion notification through various communication formats.
• Provides ideas to address tough manufacturing challenges based on process and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Fabricates, assembles, and test parts as needed, such as various pumps, valves, laboratory equipment, heaters, compressors, and other mechanical system parts using metal fabricating tools, common hand tools, power tools, and welding torches.
• Works in cooperation with engineering, technical and production management, and/or vendors when directed.
• Recommends electrical equipment, materials, sizes, and other working data for supervisory approval based on past practices, basic data tables, and technical references.
• Analyzes and repairs specialized equipment heavily dependent upon electrical controls, electromechanical mechanisms, and related components under general direction.
• Obtains required tools, equipment, and instruments; maintains and stores them as necessary.
• Replaces fuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers, electric switches, and other electrical equipment following electrical specifications.
• Operates a variety of maintenance equipment including but not limited to, power hand tools, forklift, and electrical diagnostic testing instrument.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three (3) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and applicable technical information.
• Ability to frequently bend and/or lift up to forty (40) pounds and/or up to fifty (50) pounds with assistance or use of equipment.
• Ability to frequently push and/or pull up to forty (40) pounds and/or up to fifty (50) pounds with assistance or use of equipment.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment including but not limited to, power hand tools, forklift, and electrical diagnostic testing instrument.

Pay Range: $30.00-$40.00/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
