Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for fixing things? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Join our friendly team as a Maintenance Mechanic in the dynamic warehousing industry. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment and machinery are running properly. You will be solving problems, repairing equipment, and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of systems and equipment within our warehouses. Whether it’s helping to keep our conveyor systems running or ensuring that our climate control systems function flawlessly. You'll work closely with a supportive team that values collaboration and communication. Responsibilities
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
• Respond swiftly to maintenance requests from team members and management.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanics is a plus.
• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems - such as, conveyor systems and components, Shanklin wrappers, pallet stretch wrappers
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, stoop, bend, and twist throughout an 8 to 10 hours shift.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment (if it's hot out, it's hot inside...)
Pay, Shift, & Location
• Pay: ranges from $22.50/hr to $24.50/hr depending on experience, with a $1.50/hr shift differential for 3rd shift.
• Shift: 11:00pm to 7:00am, Sunday - Thursday, with mandatory overtime as needed.
• Location: Indy North - 5550 W. 74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268
