Job Description

Serves as Maintenance Mechanic in Federal Government buildings and performs duties associated with the operation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment and systems outlined in the Employer's contract with the Government. Work shall be performed under the supervision and guidance of the Contractor's Mechanical Lead who assigns the work, makes re-views and inspections of the work to be performed and provides technical advice and assistance in the performance of all other assigned duties. Specific instructions shall be furnished on all assignments, except routine and un-skilled repetitive tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of all equipment and systems outlined in the Employer's contract with the Government.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, LICENSURE, EXPERIENCE:

• At least 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic.• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance as required by the Government.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Thorough understanding of and ability to execute proper maintenance procedures for mechanical and plant equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, structural and non-structural systems.• Must have the knowledge and skills required to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs as required in the Employer's contract.
