Crestwood Manor is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team!

Crestwood Manor is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Whiting, NJ. We are currently in search of a full-time Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. At Springpoint, our Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for providing general maintenance for the facility and its residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cleaning various equipment throughout the facility, clean out apartments when vacated or after demolition, change light bulbs, change filters, etc.
• Able to make use of an electronic work order system.
• Assist in providing material for renovation and remodeling; report stock that is needed for job performance.
• Maintain accurate records of time and scope utilizing work order request forms.
• Interact well with and assist various vendors and contractors called in to repair or provide services to facility.
• Provide appropriate assistance to residents, co-workers, and visitors. Represent the facility in a professional manner.
• Must be able to report to work at off-hours in cases of emergency.
• Perform all duties in a timely, effective, and cost-efficient manner.
• Complete and return work order tickets at end of day.
• Complete communication forms at apartment detailing work complete if resident was not at home.
• Maintain professional relationships and interact with co-workers, superiors, residents, and visitors.
• Follow published fire and safety procedures. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 Years in general maintenance required

Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 / hour
