
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Plumber II for our Facility Operations department. The Plumber II, under the supervision of the Director of Facility Operations, Maintenance Manager or designee, performs duties relevant to, but not limited to, the installation of plumbing systems and equipment. The Plumber shall also perform routine and preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to the steam, medical air, oxygen, heating, cooling and drain piping and equipment in the Medical Center or the Medical Center properties. The Plumber shall be a resource person for other staff and outside vendors.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent with trade school or equivalent preferred. Based on courses of shop math, mechanical drawing and welding/Brazing. Must hold a current and valid Masters Plumbing license.
EXPERIENCE:
7 years of work experience in the Plumbing field preferred.
SKILLS:
Must be able to read and interpret plumbing diagrams, blueprints and manuals. Must be capable of climbing ladders and working with piping in a professional manner. Must be able to work within confined spaces if needed. Needs to be able to schedule work and run jobs when needed.
