What You Will Do:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Wichita Falls, TX as a Maintenance Materials Planner. As a Maintenance Materials Planner, you will play a critical role in supporting safe, efficient, and on-time operations by ensuring technicians have the right parts, tools, and materials when they need them. You will serve as a key partner to Maintenance, Supply Chain, and vendor teams, managing inventory flow, coordinating urgent material needs, and driving storeroom organization and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and supporting world-class maintenance performance. This role will work primarily from Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Order spare parts, tools, and consumables to support maintenance activities.
Partner with vendors to provide a quick response to equipment breakdowns.
Develop, implement, and sustain inventory organization system for spare parts and consumable inventory.
Track purchase orders from request through delivery, organizing parts as they are received.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in current parts inventory.
Organize and maintain a clean, efficient, and labeled storeroom.
Ensure proper storage conditions for sensitive parts (PLCs, bearings, sensors).
Implement visual controls and 5S standards.
Improve accessibility for common items, partner with Maintenance Technicians on building kits for scheduled PMs.
Maintain accurate records in CMMS or ERP systems.
Partner with leadership on cycle count and inventory management development.
Support Company, Facility, and Team Strategies as needed
Ensure full compliance with the company policies, work rules, safe work practices, and procedures established for product safety and to protect the environment, take immediate action upon and report all unsafe acts, hazardous conditions, and conditions which impact or have the potential to impact the environment.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience with inventory control and/or purchasing in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Qualifications We Prefer:
Previous Experience with inventory systems, CMMS, or ERP software
Basic Understanding of safe work practices in an industrial environment
Strong organizational, computer, and data entry skills
