We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the Operations and Maintenance team located at the Dalia (Tzafit) Power Plant.
As the plants' Maintenance Manager you shall be accountable for operational support, planned and unplanned maintenance activities, and associated administration tasks as well as lead a team, manage sub-contractors and work closely with the Customer.
Essential Responsibilities
• Accountable for Electrical, Mechanical and I&C maintenance scope at the plant;
• Manage and implement quality systems that meet GE standards and contractual requirements, with the objective of achieving targets derived from legal, contractual, technical and commercial obligations;
• Develop and improve relevant maintenance procedures;
• Analyze incident reports and operational data and suggest necessary actions;
• During planned or unplanned outages, coordinate between the Customer, GE and suppliers/subcontractors, and ensure that the Customer is aware of all modifications and related technical matters;
• Identify initial spare parts, control GE O&M’s buffer stock and maintain the required stock availability, ensuring the timely availability of identified spare parts, consumables and tools for planned and corrective maintenance;
• Manage the Maintenance department budget, ensure proper financial controls and develop cost awareness in the team;
• Develop and maintain a high safety and quality conscious working environment and ensure compliance with all company and legislative Health, Safety and Environmental requirements;
• Liaise with GE head office Center of Excellence (COE), provide all necessary reporting and implement best practices as defined by COE standards;
• Recruit, train, develop and guide the Maintenance team (Electrical, Mechanical, I&C);
• Manage sub-contractors.
Qualifications/Requirements
• BSc/MSc degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering;
• Strong technical background - Extensive knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes involved in the operation and maintenance of a Power Station
• Knowledge of distinctive legislation associated with Power Station operation and maintenance
• Minimum 5 years' experience in commissioning/maintenance of Power Stations or equivalent facilities
• Good understanding of PTW system, knowledge of the general control system and understanding of the commissioning processes
• Previous experience leading a team
• Previous experience in a customer facing role
• Excellent English and Hebrew, both verbal and written.
