Maintenance Manager – OSB Operations Northern, Ontario

We are hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at a high-performing OSB facility in Northern, Ontario.

This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all plant equipment while leading a skilled team of maintenance professionals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of maintenance supervisors, planners, and trades
  • Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve uptime and reduce downtime
  • Oversee mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance activities
  • Partner with operations to optimize production efficiency and equipment reliability
  • Manage maintenance budgets, shutdowns, and capital projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TPM, RCA)
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in:
  • OSB / wood products / sawmills OR
  • Pulp & paper / heavy industrial manufacturing
  • Strong background in reliability and asset management
  • Experience managing unionized teams is a strong asset
  • Proven leadership in high-volume, continuous process environments
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred
