The Maintenance Manager establishes standardized and industrialized custom production and repair processes in line with Sonova’s global standards. This role ensures productivity, quality, turnaround time, and cost targets are met while maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance, compliance with data privacy and security standards, and a safe, reliable, and connected environment.
Ensure all product repair and custom production meets corporate quality and delivery standards
Lead and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment, facilities, and systems
Oversee IT and OT infrastructure related to production and maintenance, ensuring reliable operations
Maintain and enforce IT Security, OT Security, and Data Privacy controls in alignment with Sonova’s global standards
Monitor and ensure the functionality of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Manage maintenance logs, equipment inventory, and spare parts procurement
Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities, ensuring minimum downtime
Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to maintain secure data flows and protect sensitive production information
Ensure facilities, production areas, and equipment comply with safety, environmental, and data protection regulations
Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers
Report regularly to Corporate Operations management on performance, productivity, and improvement actions
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency, and compliance
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Experience in planning and managing maintenance operations, including IT/OT systems integration
Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
Familiarity with IT and OT security principles and data privacy standards
Analytical and conceptual thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills, credibility, and teamwork orientation
Knowledge of stock management, cost control, and environmental legislation
Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written); MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
