As part of its ongoing regional expansion, the company is strengthening its Vietnam manufacturing operations with advanced German warp knitting technology and high-performance industrial machinery. The Vietnam facility plays a critical role as a regional production hub focused on operational excellence, equipment reliability, and large-scale manufacturing efficiency.

Job Role

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the reliability, maintenance, and technical performance of the plant's industrial machinery and facility infrastructure. This role acts as the key technical authority for all maintenance operations, ensuring maximum machine uptime, stable production performance, and long-term asset reliability.

The position requires deep expertise in warp knitting machinery, particularly Karl Mayer and Soma equipment, along with strong capabilities in preventative maintenance strategy, troubleshooting, and technical team leadership within a high-volume industrial textile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Manage the overall technical health and reliability of production machinery and plant facilities.
• 
  Lead maintenance operations for Karl Mayer and Soma warp knitting machines.
• 
  Design and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment efficiency and minimize downtime.
• 
  Handle complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system troubleshooting.
• 
  Monitor machine calibration, synchronization, and operational precision.
• 
  Oversee spare parts planning, inventory control, and coordination with international vendors.
• 
  Ensure continuous operation of utilities such as compressors, HVAC systems, power systems, and water treatment facilities.
• 
  Conduct root cause analysis for machinery failures and production defects.
• 
  Lead and develop local maintenance technicians and engineering teams.
• 
  Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• 
  Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including at least 3 years within warp knitting, technical textile, or industrial textile manufacturing environments.
• 
  Strong hands-on experience with Karl Mayer or Soma machinery.
• 
  Deep understanding of textile machinery calibration, synchronization, and tension systems.
• 
  Experience troubleshooting PLC systems, servomotors, inverters, and textile control systems.
• 
  Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance planning and asset lifecycle management.
• 
  Experience managing spare parts inventory and coordinating with international suppliers.
• 
  Familiarity with plant utilities including compressors, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• 
  Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• 
  Fluent in English for technical communication and reporting.
• 
  Willing to relocate and stay in Vietnam for long-term assignment.
