Central Studio Hotel Sydney, part of Naumi Group is on the hunt for an experienced Maintenance Manager. This role is suited for someone who has a can-do attitude, is a great team player, an eye for detail, excellent time management skills and is a great leader to engage and motivate.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the maintenance department, including planning and executing maintenance schedules, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, a proactive approach to problem-solving and is hands on on tools & machines.

Ideally you bring …

  • A trade background with 5+ years' experience in maintaining large properties
  • Plumbing & electrical experience is desirable
  • Can-do attitude & an eye for detail
  • Willingness to step outside your comfort zone
  • Focus on customer service & openness to learn
  • Understanding of SafeWork AU regulations and knowledge of PPE for daily tasks

Some of what you will be doing …

  • Maintain and improve the presentation and general upkeep of the hotel buildings, surroundings, facilities, services and equipment
  • Undertake, strategise, organise, and execute the maintenance plans
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization
  • Liaise, engage, and manage contractors where necessary
  • Possess sufficient knowledge of hotel and its facilities for guest, client, and contractor enquiries
  • Demonstrate commitment to Health and Safety polices and procedures
