Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Manager in our south side of Chicago to lead our maintenance team and ensure the optimal functioning of our properties. This role involves overseeing maintenance operations, coordinating repairs, and managing a skilled team of technicians. The Maintenance Manager will ensure that all properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with local regulations. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to excellence are essential for success in this position.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal;
• Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter;
• Excellent customer service skills a must.
• Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field;
• On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays;
• Skilled in routine apartment maintenance, as well as handling administrative tasks and paperwork related to vendors/contractors;
• Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner.
