ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and manage maintenance practices and procedures (preventive, predictive, and repair).
Monitor, react to, and report key maintenance metrics and indicators.
Develop and manage continuous improvement projects in regards to equipment, processes, and facility.
Management and coordination of equipment installations (new and refurbishment).
Management and supervision of Maintenance/Automation team personnel.
Coordination and communication of maintenance activites with Plant Manager and site senior staff.
Training and evaluation of maintenance personnel to meet current and future needs.
Demonstration and assurance of safe work practices by maintenance personnel and contractors.
Travel periodically between sites for training and assistance.
Knowledge and practice of Hutchinson’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Engineering degree,
Minimum of 5 years experience working in industrial maintenance or engineering.
Technical experience in mechanical systems, electrical systems, fluid power (pneumatic and hydraulic), and industrial controls.
