· Recognized technical qualification in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning, or a related trade or engineering discipline.

· Minimum five (5) years’ maintenance or engineering experience in a hotel, resort, or comparable facilities environment, including at least three (3) years supervisory or managerial.

· Demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution and generators, plumbing and water systems, pool plant and water treatment, refrigeration, and building fabric.

· Proven experience running a documented preventative maintenance programme and managing contractors and capital or refurbishment projects.

· Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements, statutory inspections, and life-safety systems.

· Competence with work-order systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); valid driver’s licence.

· Availability for on-call duty and emergency response outside normal working hours.

Preferred: pool operation and water-treatment certification, electrical licensing, or refrigerant handling; luxury or Forbes-aligned resort experience including villa products; multi-property oversight; familiarity with Opera Cloud PMS out-of-order management; Caribbean hurricane preparedness and business continuity experience.
