About the role.
We’re currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our Kinrise Snackfoods team. Based primarily at our Dandenong South with travel to Braeside, and Keysborough as required, this role is responsible for leading the site's maintenance and reliability function to maximise plant uptime, equipment performance, and operational efficiency.

This role is responsible for driving a proactive, "no downtime" culture through the effective implementation of maintenance strategies, asset management systems, capital improvement programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will lead the maintenance team to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations while supporting the achievement of production, quality, and safety objectives.

You will play a pivotal role in implementing Total Asset Management principles, improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reducing planned and unplanned downtime, and developing a high-performing maintenance and reliability culture

Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the maintenance and reliability strategy to improve equipment uptime, OEE, and asset performance.
  • Drive preventative, predictive, and continuous improvement maintenance practices across the site.
  • Manage maintenance planning, shutdowns, spare parts, contractor performance, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement solutions to reduce planned and unplanned downtime.
  • Oversee the SAP PM/EAM (CMMS) system to optimise maintenance execution and asset management.
  • Support and deliver capital projects, automation initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ), GMP, and HACCP requirements.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, cost control initiatives, and asset lifecycle planning.
  • Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing maintenance team while fostering a strong safety and continuous improvement culture.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in a Maintenance, Reliability, or Engineering leadership role within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and driving operational performance.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and team development skills.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance systems, reliability programs, and CMMS platforms (SAP PM/EAM preferred).
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, automation, and modern manufacturing technologies.
  • Experience with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or similar methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Engineering degree or relevant trade qualification, with additional qualifications in Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, or Project Management highly regarded.
