Job Description

Our customer in Elkhart, IN is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all maintenance operations for a manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment uptime and operational efficiency
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules, work orders, vendor relationships, and maintenance budgeting
• Supervise and support a tenured maintenance team while driving accountability and responsiveness
• Partner with production leadership to prioritize repairs, equipment improvements, and downtime reduction efforts
• Oversee maintenance activities for industrial manufacturing equipment, dust collection systems, and facility infrastructure

Required Skills / Experience

• Previous maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in preventative maintenance planning, scheduling, and CMMS systems
• Experience managing maintenance budgets, outside contractors, and vendor relationships
• Working knowledge of industrial equipment, electrical/mechanical systems, and troubleshooting processes
• Ability to lead veteran maintenance teams and operate effectively in a fast-paced production environment
