Responsibilities:
·Provide general support to the maintenance department filling in when training allows, and is approved, to ensure continuity of operations.
·Maintain a high level of professionalism, fostering collaboration, effective problem-solving, and strong working relationships with facility management and team members.
·Complete painting assignments as required, including working at heights (e.g., ladders) and in varying environmental conditions such as cold temperatures.
·Maintain and replace forklift batteries, performing routine inspections and maintenance as needed to ensure safe and efficient operation.
·Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, including (but not limited to) inspecting fire extinguishers, logging monthly equipment hours, and checking emergency lighting and eyewash stations.
·Conduct regular building maintenance to ensure facility cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
·Accurately complete work orders and maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance activities performed.
·Participate in training for various pieces of equipment in order to safely maintain, inspect, and potentially repair them.
·Support emergency response efforts as required.
·Successfully complete required annual emergency response physicals, including lung capacity and hearing tests as required.
·Individual technicians who show advanced ability may be asked to perform or assist with entry-level refrigeration tasks such as completing refrigeration logs under supervision, provided appropriate training and certifications have been completed.

·Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
·Skills:
oPrevious maintenance experience preferred.
oKnowledge of general hand and power tools.
oExperience with preventative maintenance preferred.

·Possess strong arithmetic and reading skills.
·Follow verbal instructions, written instructions, and company policies.
