Ingredion is looking for a Maintenance Lead, Mechanical Shop to lead a high-performing Mechanical Shop team and drive safe, reliable plant performance by partnering with Operations and Engineering to deliver maintenance excellence.

What you will do:

- Lead and promote Safety, Health, Environmental, and Employment Standards, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

- Provide day-to-day oversight of the Mechanical Shop Technician team and Mechanical Shop Department, building a self-directed, engaged work team.

- Coordinate with Operations and Engineering to plan and execute maintenance and reliability activities that support plant requirements.

- Partner with technicians and peers to hit production targets and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

- Communicate consistently through daily interactions and regular crew meetings to align priorities, progress, and expectations.

- Coach, train, and develop team members to improve performance and strengthen technical capability.

- Support planning, decision-making, and execution in a dynamic manufacturing environment, managing priorities with urgency.

What you will bring:

- Certificate of Qualification in a skilled trade OR technician/technologist diploma in a related field, plus relevant maintenance/manufacturing experience.
- Previous leadership experience (leading technicians, crews, or shop teams).
- Knowledge and application of safe working practices in an industrial environment.
- Experience using SAP (maintenance, work orders, parts, or planning).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across functions and levels.

Pay Range:

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
