The Maintenance Lawncare position is a member of the Green Circle Landscaping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing ongoing landscaping tasks, as well as routine maintenance of the landscaping equipment. We have several flower gardens on our property that will require regular maintenance. If you have experience in landscaping and a strong attention to detail, you may be the perfect fit for this job.
JOB DUTIES:
Mow lawn by either hand or using riding lawnmower
Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes
Trim shrubs and pull weeds
Rake, prune, and mulch the grounds as needed
Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, and hedge or bush trimmers
Operate snow removal equipment during the winter to keep all the walkways and building entrances cleared and safe.
Shovel snow from walkways and steps and apply salt to keep people from falling
Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping
Work in various temperatures based on season – summer gets very hot, winter gets very cold
Must be able to physically perform the basic operational functions of bending and stooping
Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License
High school diploma/GED required, with 2+ years’ grounds keeping experience
Must be a reliable worker who is able to perform routine tasks without supervision
Strong attention to detail required
Be able to lift at least 50 pounds
