
General Purpose:
Performs all record keeping for inventory control of parts room, tools, machine components and expenses used by maintenance personnel. Provides day-to-day miscellaneous administrative and component purchasing support to maintenance as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generates receivers for all incoming parts and verifies quality at time of delivery. Receives in stock and keeps parts room organized.
- Pairs work orders with the correct part(s) in preparation for the assigned mechanic to retrieve and complete the work order.
- Performs cycle counts each week in the parts room to verify accuracy of inventory. Counts material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies in stock and inputs data into system.
- Monitors various expenses spent on each piece of equipment.
- Assists with the maintaining and managing of the Computerized Maintenance Management System to ensure accurate and detailed information is stored and retrievable.
- Updates and maintains the vendor list.
- Understands and applies company safety policies, GMPs, and any other applicable regulations and programs.
- Performs other responsibilities as determined by business needs.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-3 years related experience preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- 2-3 years CMMS experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer focus
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently, and within a team.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CMMS applications.
- Reliable and ability to meet deadlines.
- Detail-orientated, self-directed, computer skills, organized.
- Team player
- Proficient 10-key skills
- Ability to research and resolve order related problems
- Maintenance department environment
- Required to sit/stand for periods of time
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
Licensing and Certification:
- Technical certifications preferred
