As a Maintenance Helper, you will provide janitorial services, help maintain the warehouse, assist O&M Techs with maintenance activities and other activities at the plant as needed. The position requires demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with proven interpersonal skills and professionalism in dealing with management, co-workers and vendors. Must be able to handle multiple assignments and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist O&M Techs performing maintenance on plant equipment
  • Work within and ensure strict adherence to all safety and environmental procedures
  • Assists with stocking, maintaining warehouse consumable and parts inventory and cleans and keeps warehouse orderly and professional
  • Operate plant trucks to make deliveries and procure supplies and equipment from local vendors as needed
  • Operate plant forklift to load, unload, move and store equipment, parts and supplies safely following established procedures
  • Operate filter press and other water treatment systems as qualified and directed by Operations
  • Perform minor and routine repairs and preventative maintenance on plant vehicles and other equipment as qualified
  • Clean plant equipment to maintain station professional appearance using a variety of cleaning supplies including pressure washer
  • Perform all janitorial cleaning services for the plant
  • Assist with quarterly inventory process as needed
  • Outage support with material handling, boxing/crate fabrication for parts install and shipping
  • Assists with special events set up as needed
  • Possibility of overtime

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Prior experience operating in an industrial setting
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Requirements

  • Forklift Operator experience
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

This is a safety sensitive position. Individuals receiving conditional offers of employment will be subject to drug testing and must receive a negative result to begin working for the company.

Base Pay

$26.40 - $37.63 USD Hourly
Bonus: 10%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.

In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance. Your recruiter can share more about bonus eligibility for this position during the hiring process.
