Your Daily Role:

  • Lead & Supervise: Train, motivate, and directly supervise maintenance staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations across the facility.
  • Plan & Coordinate: Work closely with the maintenance planner to assign daily tasks, manage staffing needs, and support production, repack, and distribution operations.
  • Ensure Compliance: Uphold food safety, health, and safety standards in line with company policies and SQF 2000 code requirements.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in capital projects, reduce downtime, and recommend efficiency improvements through updated procedures and equipment.

What qualifications and skills do I need to be successful?

  • Experience & Education: Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience and a high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, using diagnostic tools, and operating a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment; basic computer and Google Workspace skills preferred.
  • Certifications & Safety Knowledge: Familiar with OSHA safety protocols, including Lock-Out Tag-Out, PPE, lift truck operation, and facility-specific food safety standards (GMPs, HACCP).
  • Physical & Environmental Readiness: Able to lift up to 100 lbs, work in hot/cold, dusty, and noisy environments, and perform tasks involving standing, bending, and climbing regularly.
  • Can work second shift (3 pm to 11 pm)
