
An established beverage manufacturing facility in Dublin is seeking two Maintenance Fitters to join their Engineering & Maintenance team based in Clondalkin. These positions are available across both early and late shifts on a 4-day working week, Monday to Thursday. The successful candidates will bring strong mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing or FMCG environments, with particular exposure to conveyors and production systems.
This is an opportunity to join a high-volume production environment with strong long-term stability, structured maintenance systems and ongoing investment in engineering operations.
Responsibilities
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery, packaging lines and utility systems
• Respond to breakdowns and complete fault finding and repairs to minimise downtime
• Perform mechanical fitting and pipework tasks including pumps, valves, conveyors and filling equipment
• Support installation and commissioning of new plant and production equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records through the site CMMS system
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health & safety and food-grade standards
• Liaise with production teams to coordinate maintenance priorities and minimise disruption
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and efficiency
• Support engineering teams during shutdowns and planned maintenance periods
Requirements
• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ post-trade experience within manufacturing or FMCG environments
• Strong hands-on mechanical maintenance experience with conveyors, pumps and gearboxes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs and technical manuals
• Experience working within food-grade or beverage manufacturing environments preferred
• Reliable and flexible approach to shift work across early and late rotations
Shifts Available
• Early Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Late Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm – 12:00am
