Job Description

The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Preprint at Coolaroo. You will be part of our reliability team, supporting production and our industrial customers.

• Rotating shift: One week days shift/One week afternoon shift
• 8h shift (Monday to Friday. some Saturday required)

The Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Be reactive to breakdowns minimising downtime.
• Carry out routine checks and planned preventative maintenance to maintain productivity of machines.
• Maintain stock levels of spare parts to assist in making components for repairs.
• Update and maintain data records on works carried out.
• Participate in safety training and promote a safe work environment

What you will bring to the team:

• Hold a Mechanical Trade certificate and post trade qualifications in hydraulics and pneumatics would be desirable.
• Proven experience in fault finding and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality standards in manufacturing
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
