Job Description

A maintenance professional who, working with little or no supervision, applies planning principles to leverage available resources to complete required maintenance activities. This position will assist Engineering and Maintenance in providing technical support to the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Plan all facets of maintenance (demand, preventative, predictive, etc). Assign Maximo workorders to the resources that will complete them and schedule the activities
  • Prioritize maintenance work that impacts Safety or Quality in order to assure a quick response time
  • Work closely with supply chain and operations to determine timing such that maintenance activities do not impact safety stock. Where possible, align activities to minimize downtime required.
  • Support engineering and other technical efforts as needed
  • Deliver Maintenance Excellence Program (MEP) results. Interface with the MEP team to assure fulfillment to expectations
  • Act as the lead for coordinating maintenance shutdowns including operations labor needs, technical resources, vendor support, parts and materials, and workorders
  • Capture Continuous Improvement actions applicable to the maintenance organization and reflect a plan that supports implementation. Where possible, build tools to automate manual tasks.
  • Progress the MEP program through phases as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, planning, scheduling, supply chain or logistics OR 3+ years of combined experience in manufacturing, maintenance, planning, scheduling, supply chain or logistics
  • Advanced Microsoft excel experience (Must have)
  • Must understand production process
  • Planning & scheduling, logistics, supply chain or project management experience
  • Maximo Software experience (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills, task prioritization and schedule optimization.
  • Strong collaboration skills / ability to work cross-functionally
  • Leading without authority and influencing others.
