Maintenance Engineering Intern

Compensation: $15.00 / hour

We are CURRENTLY seeking a phenomenal Maintenance Engineering Intern to join our team!

This role will be working closely with our Maintenance Engineering team and is a great opportunity to gain work experience in the manufacturing field.
The Maintenance Engineering Intern will support the development of a more proactive, data-driven maintenance organization. This role will focus on inventory optimization, CMMS data improvement and reliability-driven initiatives to improve equipment uptime, reduce maintenance costs and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Analyze inventory levels, usage trends and stock accuracy to identify opportunities for inventory optimization and cost reduction.
• Support implementation and improvement of min/max levels, reorder points and inventory organization.
• Assist in improving CMMS data quality, including parts, asset hierarchy and failure code accuracy.
• Support Root Cause Analysis investigations for equipment failures and document corrective actions.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects with a focus on enhancing preventive maintenance effectiveness.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project results to maintenance and plant leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to take ownership of projects and drive results.
