Hoe zal je bijdragen en groeien in deze functie?
As part of the international Air Liquide group, Air Liquide Large Industries (ALBI LI) is responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of industrial gas installations in the Benelux. We are a dynamic organisation that aims for continuous improvement and innovation within a crucial segment of the industry. ALBI LI has a large electricity portfolio of both consumers (o.a. air separation units and a 200MW electrolyser) and producers. The Pergen plant is a cogeneration unit that produces high pressure steam and up to 150kV electricity. It operates in a dynamic electrical situation and can generate up to 300MW.
Role: As a Maintenance Engineer at the Pergen plant, you are the bridge between engineering plans and the physical implementation of them. You take ownership of the plant’s electrical systems, from long term projects to hands-on troubleshooting of complex failures. You are also part of thinking on solutions how to prepare the plant for the (electrical) future.
Targets: Your goal is to keep the plant running safely and without interruption. You aren't afraid to combine engineering with working in the field. While you spend time analyzing data and drafting maintenance concepts, you are equally likely to be found at a substation or at one of our boilers helping the team during a critical breakdown.
Installation responsibility: Act as technical responsible for the safe operation of High and Low Voltage installations according to NEN 3140/3840.
Troubleshooting Support: Provide high-level technical support in the troubleshooting of complex faults. Dive into the schematics and other documentation to find the root cause of the problem.
Field Modifications: Review technical designs of modifications. You ensure that modifications are practical, maintainable, and safe.
Reliability & Cost: (preventive) Identify "bad actor" equipment. Decide whether to repair, modify, or replace assets to ensure the highest reliability at the best cost.
Compliance: Manage and ensure all inspection reports are turned into immediate corrective actions in the field.
Ben jij de juiste persoon voor deze functie?
Expertise: You have a completed HBO or WO in Electrical Engineering and experience in an industrial environment.
Authority: Over time, you can grow into being the installation responsible according to NEN 3140/3840, making you the final responsible on electrical safety.
Mindset: You have a "can-do" mentality. You move easily between a management meeting and a technical conversation with the E&I technicians.
Result-Oriented: You don't stop at identifying a problem; you drive the solution until the plant is running at full performance.
