Maintenance Engineer
Maintain manufacturing processes in optimal condition. Develop maintenance plans, OPMs, preventive maintenance routines, and define execution frequencies applicable to different technologies. Ensure availability of critical machine spare parts, control and guarantee compliance with schedules, and ensure standardization of machinery across all processes. Analyze internal and external factors that create opportunities or impact goal achievement, such as technology changes, standard changes, customer needs, technician training, and procedures. Ensure machinery across all technologies remains within standard, maintain spare parts inventory according to a master spare parts catalog, and develop action plans to reduce downtime in launch cells. • OA • MTTR • MTBF • Develop maintenance routines for launch machinery considering FMEA formats, manufacturer manuals, and similar technologies. • Develop preventive maintenance plans describing activities, following logical execution sequences, and specifying times and frequencies. • Periodically review maintenance formats in L2L to ensure correct frequencies and accurate information. • Generate standard work instructions for maintenance technicians. • Ensure support for AMG’s. • Create and maintain OPMs for different area technologies. • Meet environmental objectives related to hazardous waste generation and energy savings. • Perform failure analysis related to product design and process. • Provide support for machinery modifications according to AS7. • Deliver internal training based on projects being managed within the organization. • Actively participate in standardization forums to ensure machines are updated to the latest revisions and present local improvement proposals. • Manage activities and action plans to ensure: o Poka-yoke devices remain in their initial condition as defined by process engineering (hardware and parameters) at all times. o Tooling maintains proper mechanical, electrical, and ergonomic conditions and is always available to produce parts with the required quality, quantity, and lowest cost. o 100% of productive and non-productive equipment has the corresponding Machine Safety Risk Assessment (MSRA), including hazard and risk identification in process phases, TPM-OPM, or uncontrolled/emergency situations. o Technical and operational teams are trained, understand, and comply with each technology standard. o Technical and operations teams stop and report any deviation; disabling process or safety controls is strictly prohibited. o Identification and lockout of hazardous energies is ensured, applying defined standards during any intervention. • Understand and apply operational environmental controls relevant to the area. • Understand and manage environmental aspects and impacts related to plant activities. • Identify and report risks, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts in the workplace. • Detect and participate in actions derived from quality, safety, health, and environmental systems. • Ensure and support compliance with quality, environmental, and safety management system requirements (objectives, policies, legal requirements, etc.).
