Maintenance Engineer Schedule
- 24 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities
- Ensure all HVAC systems are operating safely, properly, and efficiently
- Maintain boilers, including completing daily and weekly boiler checks
- Complete maintenance and repair tasks promptly, professionally, and efficiently
- Paint, patch, and repair walls and surfaces as needed
- Maintain the exterior of the building, including windows and structural features
- Perform lawn care, groundskeeping, and other landscaping duties
- Conduct snow removal for parking lots, entrances, and walkways as required
- Ensure facilities remain compliant with all applicable regulatory and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, Life Safety Codes)

QualificationsMaintenance Engineer

Qualifications
- Current Minnesota 2nd Class (C) engineer's license OR special engineer's licenses with continued employment contingent upon obtaining a Minnesota 2nd Class license within 13 months of employment
- General knowledge of plumbing, surface preparation for concrete, painting, carpentry, woodwork, mechanical repairs, refrigeration, pneumatics and light electrical repairs
- Must live within a 30-minute response time to the Sauk Rapids Good Shepherd campus
- Must have a current, valid driver’s license with no driving violations within the standard of Good Shepherd’s insurability program
