Could you be the full-time Maintenance Engineer in Luleå we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and analytical expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of material supply and technical support agreement project. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including maintenance, supply chain, reliability, and safety teams), manage maintenance documentation, obsolescence issues, technical quality investigations.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring quality and reliability of material and services provided to customer.
  • Proposing and driving changes and optimizations of maintenance methods
  • Supporting the customer with preparing and managing maintenance documentation, ensuring it is updated, consistent, and compliant with contractual and regulatory standards
  • Identifying hazards and managing safety-related items during chosen maintenance activities
  • Conducting risk assessments for proposed changes and authorizing maintenance concession requests
  • Supporting obsolescence management, troubleshooting, and MMIS (Maintenance Management Information System) setup
  • Providing return-of-experience (Rex) to relevant teams

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in railway activities
  • Knowledge of rolling stock equipment
  • Understanding of railway subsystems
  • Experience in direct contact with suppliers and customers.
  • Experience in problem-solving and RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety)
  • Capacity to assess and manage technical risks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective, professional interpersonal skills and a strong team-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English
