Contract Maintenance Engineer - £33ph INSIDE IR35 - Ongoing contract Reports To: Chief Engineer
The Contract Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all mechanical or electrical equipment in the facility. This includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems, as well as experience in a FMCG maintenance role. Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on all mechanical and electrical equipment in the facility
Order and stock parts and supplies
Prepare and submit reports on maintenance activities
Comply with all safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications:
Level 3 or equivalent, 5+ years of experience in a maintenance role
Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Shifts are either 3 days 3 nights 4 off or 3 shift pattern
